STANDARDS AND PRACTICES
In the future, corporations rule the world...
Rufus Baxter is a citizen of this world and holds close to the seemingly immaculate state. However, when the consistency of truth that binds him is fragmented, he finds his perfect existence tortuous to endure. As Rufus struggles with his disillusionment and substance abuse, the world around him begins to mutate into something exceedingly nefarious. The world’s true form is shown and it is unforgivable. Laissez-faire capitalism has carried the world into the age of an economic utopia but not without disastrous hindrances. Sentient beings have lost all intrinsic value and are measured merely by their instrumental worth. When those uses have been exhausted, citizens are imprisoned in government labor camps or removed permanently by means of public execution.
